FUNDAMENTALISM – 2012
Does extremism flow
the same veins as fundamentalism?
Could the life-blood of either
be tapped for transfusion
or
used to flood honest dialogue?
I think they meander, dissecting providence,
and one becomes another’s cause.
Take the war forward.
Take peace at price.
Take mediation as a means to the end.
Take only what is yours to keep
and make sure you secure it.
Know that extremism’s hands tie different knots,
They work alternative remedies
and
take unsuspecting hostages to task.
Fundamentalism sits unjudgemental,
Respect its agenda.
It shows nothing but truth to those opposing its rule.
