A lot of people have an issue with generalisations. They can be offensive, understandably, but sometimes they are necessary. When we are included in a bracket, or labelled as a whole, it forces accountability upon the everyman. Or woman. Interestingly, that makes individuals more inclined to define themselves as different from the masses in order that they distance themselves from the responsibility the masses must carry.
A point in hand is that each generalisation that is made is a reminder. A reminder that each one of us is part of a larger picture that has a history about which we can currently do nothing. It exists. Unfortunately, humans are largely predictable. They follow like lemmings their own kind, year in and year out. They insist on behaving the same way they have done for centuries. This needs changing before generalisations can be done away with.
It can be frustrating for people who do not deserve to wear the labels that are generally given to the collective. There are always those people who do not fit the mould that society has sculpted for every man, woman and child. Those ‘misfits’ who have been dragging balls and chains that do not belong shackled to their ankles. The ‘misfits’ are okay with their load – it has facilitated their unique position. They have the best of both worlds. They can blend with the generalisations into obscurity – along with the majority of the planet – or they can take accountability for their contributions to the history of our now and refine their definitions.
There is a vocation. A calling. It is called Investigator of Kingdoms. It is all-encompassing. When you are required to make an informed decision you need to gather all the information. That means checking the ins and outs of every kingdom. There are a great many, The Animal Kingdom but one. Ask people who game. In part they are all investigators of kingdoms, some of them extraordinarily adept at what they do. Ask people who save animals for a living. Theirs’ is a kingdom. Ask people who have crowned money their king. They belong to a kingdom, too. There is even a point in asking a murdering savage why he does what he does. He will say because he wants to. What can you say to that in a free world?
The Animal Kingdom belongs to Nature. That is the first – and easiest – thing to understand. Man, too – belongs to Nature. Woman, belongs to the Sun. Notoriously possessive, the Sun is a formidable opponent. His shield is virtually impossible to penetrate. The Sun shields the Virgin. That is the second thing to understand. If you will reach her sanctity you must brave fire. In the Animal Kingdom you will find carrion. What else does the wild feed upon? The stench of death does not deter them from feasting. You will find bones, thrown here and there. Everywhere. Then you will find hyenas. They shriek and eat bones. Vultures abound, too. They tidy up nicely.
The Animal Kingdom impacts a lot of pain. Their pain – generated almost entirely by humans – is revisited upon the planet for the humans to experience. The randomness with which sudden death appears to consume people, for instance, is no different to the randomness with which hunting humans seem to choose their targets. Right. You. Bam. Most hunting humans do not say sorry when they kill. Nor do they say thank you. They should. It gives them headway when they become the hunted.
When you take the time to understand that there is a difference between magic and magick you will be able to appreciate the wonder of both. You will find that if you invest time in appreciating the magick that is happening all around you all day, every day, you will become properly alive inside yourself. This is not a scary prospect – it is like a caterpillar in a chrysalis. You will become the best you are meant to be. Do not ever forget that this takes due process. Becoming your best is a long journey. If you have stamina you should undertake this journey. If you do not – that is a shame. You are missing out.
You have to show gratitude for Nature’s magick in order that she allows its properties to transform you, your life. You must appreciate her mastery. She is very, very adept. Treasure that there is no other that will understand you like she does. She is you. From this you can draw comfort. You have no need to hide from her your ‘sins’. She understands the nature of man. And she understands very well the nature of woman, too. She is familiar with wiles and manipulation. She does not employ either method in her operation but she accepts that others, do. That there is yet conflict between the sexes about who is Alpha what is not helpful. There is always an Alpha female and an Alpha male in Nature’s equation. Always. The energy of both. Bringing together – in harmony – those energies, is where she is headed. That her work along the way is changing the lay of the land is a reality we should really learn to accept without raising too much objection. Her motivation is pure. She is already everywhere that matters.
Magic itself is black, white. Coloured. Musical. Cinematic. There is no grey area where magic is concerned. Magic works. Do not for one moment doubt that fact. Magic trades secrets in deep, dark belief. Trust. You know how a strong belief can save your life? Or kill you? Easy. If you are interested in the at-work aspects of magic and its happenings you must visit voodoo and you must visit ritual, you must hear your heartbeat and you must suspend disbelief for a period long enough to give your inner cynic a chance to keep quiet and learn. The cynic is entitled to its opinion but it is not invited to share it. When you next see love in action – and this is not hard to see if you know where to look – know that magick is happening, right there in front of your eyes. Magick comes to us each when we are primed, open, and ready to receive it.
Open. Receive it.
