Hello World! Thankyou for today – Blog No. 1

Happy Birthday

Mantras are vital to your wellbeing.  That means it is important to choose wisely those affirmations that will get you from A to B.  What you choose to get you from B to where you need to be is your business.  It is a good idea to start your day with an affirmation of gratitude.  For instance:

‘Thankyou that the earth did not explode last night.’  Or, ‘Thankyou for creating this time in which we find ourselves alive.’  Or yet still, ‘Thankyou that I have a strong body and mind and that I chose to wake up today.’

Any such affirmations, mantras, will see you through your day.  It would seem that the humans have become accustomed to taking everything for granted.  That is, they have forgotten – or pretend not to remember – how much energy it takes for Nature to wake up every morning.  They assume the sun will rise.  They assume that the air they breathe will keep cleaning itself.  They assume that they reserve the right of ownership, i.e. that it means everything to ‘own’ things.  Considering that is their way and they will not easily be dissuaded from it, at certain times it pays to be a commodity of sorts.  Being bought and sold is what human trafficking – slavery – is all about.   It is not what humans were made for, hence they find it uncomfortable.  Both the subject of their indiscriminate selling of each other, and the object.

Tears – Blog No. 6

rain

Any religious practice or philosophy that discredits the power, the potency, indeed the necessity of tears, is one that makes me not only suspicious, but downright skeptical. When your religion teaches you that tears are a weakness, an indulgence – or even an attention-seeking activity – your need to question the integrity of that religion intensifies exponentially. If you are so highly spiritually evolved that you find no value in the physical expression of sadness then I would have to say your years of spiritual training leave me disappointed and more than a little distressed that there are so few people with a true understanding of pure compassion.

It does not matter who you are – your job on this planet is to raise mankind to the heights they are capable of achieving. NOT simply glorifying yourself and leaving the rest of mankind to ‘save themselves’. If you attain your nirvana, your zenith, you are obliged – in order to demonstrate gratitude for your attainment – to use every piece of knowledge, wisdom and awareness that you have gained in your life to assist others. If you do not – will not – do that, then you have failed at life, by and large, no matter what rung of the ladder you think you are on. The ‘elevation’ of oneself is essential in part, naturally, but the bigger picture is the ‘lifting up’ of every single person, too. And everyone means everyone. This means judgementalism serves no purpose other than indicating your own particular frailties as a human being and your selfish determination to be part of an ‘elite’ group that stands head and shoulders above the multitude of others. That is not acceptable.

We would not have evolved to 2015 with tear ducts and emotions as intense as they are for many people if they did not serve an urgent purpose. If you cannot cry – you cannot claim to feel authentically the plight of this planet and that in itself is cause for my greatest concern. We need to share the sad load. Where do you think the daily agonies and sufferings of the millions of animals – and people – go? Into some giant incinerator somewhere in the sky? They don’t. That pain is a living energy – a force in motion – and for those who think tears are a waste of time, think again. You are not wise if you relegate to ‘another’ that pain by avoidance or the conviction that tears are pointless if you truly understand ‘God’. They are not. That tends towards self-righteousness and self-righteousness is dangerous – inadvisable – for any person wishing a life of consequence.

Tears are an instant stress-release.  That is a good thing.  An essential in the restoration of balance. They are proof, too, that there are a few people on this planet who do care enough for the wonder of ALL life to cry for the demise of every sentient being. And that – in itself – is a wonderful thing.  A reason for hope.

Optimism – Blog No. 46

optimism

It is helpful to look on the brighter side of life, particularly at those times when there is little light to see by. Positivity is a valuable asset in the dark. In fact it is priceless, at all times. Without foresight it is not a simple business, being optimistic. You need to be able to envision the best outcome, every time. That involves interpreting the big picture. Not translating it, or explaining it away.

There is always time to hope for the best to happen. It costs nothing, that kind of positivity. It does mean heartache, that is inevitable in a world where appalling things happen uninterrupted all day, everyday. An open heart is susceptible to aching. When you want the best for everything that is deserving of it – and again, deserving being a big word – it is a challenge to accept that in this life we do not all necessarily get what we want.

There is no such thing as being too optimistic. We are all highly evolved creatures, we can see beyond the daily dire and dismal to where this world really is a better place for all that have a vested interest in its wellbeing. Fortunately there are still many optimists all over the globe practicing their positive influence on people and their purpose – and for them, we should all be grateful. Without their foresight this planet would not be where it is going.

Heroes – Blog No. 26

heroesHeroes are not heroes for no reason.  They are that kind of person.  They are heroic.  Heroes in stories often die.  Sometimes, they have to.  That is the way of heroism.  Since you, too, have to die at some point in the future, why not a die a hero?  It is an honourable death.  It takes some doing to get your actions registered as heroic.  That means it is not a walk in the park being a hero.  It is a very serious calling and those that decide to become heroes in life – or death – should be acknowledged with our gratitude.  A hero has focus, vision, to see a mission through and deliver reached goals with maximum efficiency.

There are many heroes walking the face of the Earth.  Theirs’ is a legacy that speaks for itself.  When you save something or put your life on the line for a cause in which you believe and you do so with a fierce passion for what you represent, you begin to understand what heroes did historically – what they still do – and why they do it.  A hero is a person who helps others, a person that understands loyalty.  That is why their value.  They are resourceful, enterprising.  They are very good at what they do.  Heroes are still required and it is just as well that they do exist.  This world has not been saved yet.

It is time to stop avenging the deaths of former ‘heroes’.  There are too many men chasing each other around brandishing death because of dead heroes.  What is the point of that?  You do not teach your son that he must kill his neighbour because the boy’s grandfather killed yours.  That is stupid thinking.  The business of vendettas is a big business, understandably, there is a firm principle behind an eye for an eye, but there are ways to do the things you must do to balance the scales of justice without compromising your soul.  It is important to know this.

Luck – Blog No. 95

Make-Your-Own-LuckYou do realise that you are as lucky as you think you are?  It is also true that you make your own luck.  That is very encouraging news when you consider that your future is going to be what you make of it.  You can include for yourself in your days as much luck as you can possibly muster.  Pull from all sources.  Bless yourself with big dreaming.  You do not need to wait for someone in this world to give your dreams approval.  Dare to believe for yourself that your temperament is involved in your ‘luckiness’.  Groom yourself, your thinking, for luck.  Please know that luck is not coincidence.  Nothing is coincidence.

Luck is not something that you resent if you should see another person getting lucky.  You be happy for them.  You recognise their good fortune and you ask them how they look at life.  The way they look at life will tell you a lot about their ‘luckiness’.  The importance of giving recognition to luck is that it reminds you that there is such a thing.  Consider that luck has nothing to do with money.  You are not lucky if you have money.  Money comes to each person in their time.  Most people are the same when it comes their way.  If you have money, it is your blessing to bestow.  Use it.

Luck will carry you far.  Make sure you acknowledge each piece of luck that comes your way.  It is a way of saying thankyou to the guardian that you are to yourself.  It is a way of saying thankyou to yourself for believing that you are lucky.  If you have a positive attitude towards your ‘luckiness’, you have a lot to thank your head for.  Your mind.  Your senses.  Without your senses you would neither know nor understand lucky, so be grateful for those above all.

Magick – Blog No. 75

28300When you take the time to understand that there is a difference between magic and magick you will be able to appreciate the wonder of both.  You will find that if you invest time in appreciating the magick that is happening all around you all day, every day, you will become properly alive inside yourself.  This is not a scary prospect – it is like a caterpillar in a chrysalis.  You will become the best you are meant to be.  Do not ever forget that this takes due process.  Becoming your best is a long journey.  If you have stamina you should undertake this journey.  If you do not – that is a shame.  You are missing out.

You have to show gratitude for Nature’s magick in order that she allows its properties to transform you, your life.  You must appreciate her mastery.  She is very, very adept.  Treasure that there is no other that will understand you like she does.  She is you.  From this you can draw comfort.  You have no need to hide from her your ‘sins’.  She understands the nature of man.  And she understands very well the nature of woman, too.  She is familiar with wiles and manipulation.  She does not employ either method in her operation but she accepts that others, do.  That there is yet conflict between the sexes about who is Alpha what is not helpful.  There is always an Alpha female and an Alpha male in Nature’s equation.  Always.  The energy of both.  Bringing together – in harmony – those energies, is where she is headed.  That her work along the way is changing the lay of the land is a reality we should really learn to accept without raising too much objection.  Her motivation is pure.  She is already everywhere that matters.

Magic itself is black, white.  Coloured.  Musical.  Cinematic.  There is no grey area where magic is concerned.  Magic works.  Do not for one moment doubt that fact.  Magic trades secrets in deep, dark belief.  Trust.  You know how a strong belief can save your life?  Or kill you?  Easy.  If you are interested in the at-work aspects of magic and its happenings you must visit voodoo and you must visit ritual, you must hear your heartbeat and you must suspend disbelief for a period long enough to give your inner cynic a chance to keep quiet and learn.  The cynic is entitled to its opinion but it is not invited to share it.  When you next see love in action – and this is not hard to see if you know where to look – know that magick is happening, right there in front of your eyes.  Magick comes to us each when we are primed, open, and ready to receive it.

Open.  Receive it.

Appreciation – Blog No. 24

untitledAppreciation is different to gratitude.  It’s warmer, deeper.  And it’s more than just a feeling – it’s real goodwill at work.  Gratitude is necessary for your spirit, your soul.  You need to resonate with gratitude for your life because you have given it to yourself.  Respect that.  Keep in mind that no matter how untidy your life has been – and we have all had untidy patches – you have made your way to where you are successfully.  Perhaps not unscathed, or intact, but successfully.  Some of us take the long road, some of us take short-cuts.  Whichever way you choose to live your life remember that you did not undertake its challenges lightly.

When faced with the choice of returning to meet your karma sooner or rather later – for we must all return at some point – you must know what you will decide to do.  That is one question that will be asked of you when you end your days.  Are you the fool – leaping immediately off every precipice into the unknown, or are you the more cautious sort, creeping along in life at a slow, steady never?  Decide.  Hare or the tortoise?  Some of us are adrenalin junkies when it comes to living, we need to take it at pace and move, fluid, with it.  Others will revisit their roles and stay fixed in situ.  Which is better?  Those that stay in their comfort zone will not reach their full potential.  It is that simple.  Respect yourself for putting yourself through what you have.  There is a reason for it.

Life is your teacher.  Your guru.  Love is your guide.  Your compass.  Trust that.  Know that you have a list of experiences written into your script that you must have, and will have.  How you choose to execute these experiences is up to you.  You can immerse yourself in the drama of each one, or you can detach yourself from the tangle.  Both methods work.  You will face the same obstacles time and again – they will just dress differently to keep you on your toes – until you review yourself differently.  That is in your power.  Practice it.  You will do the same things, but with practice you will look at them from a different perspective each time.  That way, you will find solution.  Finding solution – creative solution – is a part of your life’s purpose.
