I was born on Thursday 13th July 1972 in Harare, Zimbabwe, to an English father and a South African mother. I was christened Catherine Jane Birch and - from the outset - I've been inquisitive about most of life's elemental questions; its myriad paradoxes and unpredictable anomalies, their sources, solutions and their propensity for unmitigated change. From a very young age I was captured by the enigmatic life process, the challenge of living and what it 'means' to be alive. I spent countless invaluable hours in nature, watching the world at its work. I had a fascination for everything around me, curious about what things were, how and why they worked, what they represented in relation to one another. I began writing at the age of 5. Journals, stories and poetry, illustrations, have been a constantly evolving source of quiet self-reflection, expansive expression throughout my life. I'm fortunate to have travelled many miles, to have visited a variety of differing destinations and though I've learned a lot about life in the last 50 years, my questions about its complexities are neverending. I currently live in the south-east of England, having returned to the United Kingdom after a particularly harrowing period of 7 allegedly 'invisible' or 'non-existent' years of absolute hell in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. I've decided to erase those memories, altogether. My 15-year-old son lives in Switzerland, with his father.

Disillusionment – Blog No. 58

old_people_illusionDisillusionment needs to be thrown out of the window.  Toss it out.  What is the point of being disillusioned?  Being disillusioned means admitting that you are a victim of life.  No one wants to be a victim of life.  Life plays hard with everybody, alike.  Do not imagine that your woes are worse than another’s – I can guarantee you they are not.  You are not here to count your woes, in any case.  You are here to count your blessings.  Your woes can keep count of themselves, believe me.  Let them.  In fact – let your woes, go.  Who says you cannot?  Where they go is not your business.  Good riddance.  Why can you not just cut them loose?  Because you count on your woes to keep you in your comfort zone.  What is more familiar – and cozy – than a place so tried and tested that we know exactly how it goes?  We all know how our heads go when we let ourselves dwell on our woes.  We must  watch woes with a cautious eye, they are often more illusory than they are, real.  Pull yourself free of your illusion – see the world for what it is without passing judgement and decide to have an impact on its destiny.

If you should deliberately disillusion children for a living, stop it.  Let them believe in the tooth fairy or the tooth mouse, Father Christmas, the Easter Bunny and superheroes, if they choose to.  Let them have imaginary friends.  It does not mean they are psychotic.  Their realities are as much a construct as yours are – make space in your reality for the reality of your child.  It will have developed independent of you and it needs space to grow.  As a parent, you must respect your child’s internal reality and you must know that what you choose to show your child of this life will tell in its understanding of its external reality.  As the guide – the role-model – you are in charge of demonstrating what life is, and what it does.  You are responsible for giving your child the beginnings of an imagination, too.  How you choose to do that is up to you.  If you are absent when it comes to your child building a world inside of its head – if you show your child nothing that it finds worthwhile – then you are not giving the child anything to use as a foundation for its build.  If you fail to provide a base for your child’s early belief systems then it can safely be said that as a parent you are being negligent.  Negligent parents are not what this world needs.

Should you subscribe to the theory that life is an illusion – or that we live our illusions – then you will understand that disillusionment is absolutely pointless.  How can you be disillusioned  when you have chosen your own path?  When you do not take the beaten track you can make no comparisons.  Nothing is as it was before.  What you see is what you get, and that is what you work with.  You run the risk of feeling at a loss now and again – that is natural in a greedy world filled with takers – but you should not allow that feeling to take hold.  It is an occupational hazard.  Disillusionment at the hands of an illusion saps strength.  The strength you need to live an illusion (because you will live your illusion in conjunction with your other realities) comes from knowing that you can.  You can manage your illusion with some precision.  Illusions are where we keep our best, because in an illusion your best is untouchable.  If you cannot conceive of having a ‘best’ then you are on the wrong path.  Get off it.  Look around.  Go where no one has gone before.  Go to the unknown.  It is a place in you.  It is most likely that you will find yourself best on this path, in that place.  Get busy interpreting and living your dreams  – share your inner reality, even if it is only with yourself.  If you want to find a way to make it real, you will.

Transgression – Blog No. 57

what-is-sin_472_326_80Transgressing is appealing to a lot of people.  Going against the rules, the regulations.  In a society as permissive as ours, anything goes.  In the worlds of white supremacists – yes, they still exist – where conservative thinking keeps dreams in a very small box, perhaps this is not good news.  It is probably not good news for the church, either.  Both tend towards puritanism, and misconduct – for that is what transgression is –  is not allowed.  That is the first reason transgression is attractive.  It is defiant and it shows a lack of respect for the opinion of the establishment.  The problem is that transgression affects you the same way as an addiction affects you.  Once you find your way into its labyrinth, it is hard to find your way out.  Transgressing is good for your conscience.  You must exercise your conscience now and again to be sure that you still have one.  If you should lose your conscience you are in trouble.  It is a rudder, a stabliser in a unstable world.  Our world is unstable.  There are too many conscienceless people.  Where do they find inspiration to be as heartless as they are, the ones that rape and murder and torture?  How arrogant their disregard for their afterlife.  The positive news is that they must live their deaths and their afterlives.  They will know how that feels when it happens.  Do not take all your guidance from your external reality, hear how you govern your internal reality and take guidance from that, too.  Your still mind has answers for all your questions.  Some, you must just be brave enough to ask.

Transgression is a sign.  Your human is smaller than your subconscious.  When the desire to do something you should not do is able to overwhelm your conscience, your moral code, then you must know how powerful desire.  I think men should desire women more.  These days they don’t get the chance – it’s all out there and it’s available in their faces.  There’s no chase.  Where has the point gone of being together?  Should a man not present his best to a woman he is trying to impress?  He should.  She should make him be his best, so he should always be trying to impress her.  His best should be who he truly is.  She will either like it or she won’t.  A woman should present the best of herself when she is on the man-path.  That is respectful to one another.    It is important to know that your best can be found hiding beneath the masks of make-up and designer gear.  That is not who you are.  That is the illusion you present to the world.  How big is your illusion?  I suppose it depends on how much money you have and how you choose to spend it.

It is most unfortunate that in this world, you do get what you pay for.  That consistency is what keeps reputable brands in big business.  It should be noted that there is a lot of crap for sale in this world.  I think we have China to thank for that.  The Chinese like to transgress.  They know what the rules are in this world and they choose to go against them, time and again.  Those that can do something about their transgressions, don’t.  Therein lies a problem.  Keep in mind how disciplined China’s past.  They have stamina, as an aggressor in any world.  Their mind-power is legendary.

I would be surprised if teenagers did not transgress as often as possible.  Expect it in this society.  In fact, the adults that transgressed as teenagers are still transgressing – are we surprised that the next generation followed their example?  Kids watch adults behave, they learn behaviours.  It is simple.  Even if you should wave your bible at your children and threaten their sins with eternal damnation, they will behave according to their needs, eventually.  You can only suppress a nature for so long.  If you will suppress your child, then know that its inner reality is going to be huge.  It will be enthralling, addictive – preferable to the one you are controlling and the child will choose to spend time in there, away from the world you have chosen to show it.   Realise that the reality inside a child is a reality in which you are not welcome as a trespasser.  Children need  privacy of being.  You should not be telling a child who to be in life.  You let it become.  You give it mind-space, too.  You have to let your children breathe, mentally.  Do not force-feed them with your attentions.  Let them learn how to empower themselves.  They must learn naturally how to handle their abilities and capabilities.  If you push your child in any particular direction be careful how hard you push.  You cannot live out your dreams through your child.  Do not try.  Let them become who they are without your interference.  Guidance, yes.  Interference, no.  It is encouraging how adept the today-children are at understanding life, and each other.  Communication is at an all-time high and emotional intelligence is being fostered in many homes and hearts.  Thank god for the families who have nurtured their children.  This world owes them a  debt of gratitude because those children will know – and practice – compassion.  The children who have been hurt, will hurt others.  It is a given.  As adults their trend will continue – they will hurt other adults.  We need to stop hurting children.  That is the quickest way to set this world straight.

Transgression has consequences.  Keep that in mind when you are next tempted.

Porn – Blog No. 56

porn-logic_o_175338Porn is a bigger problem than you perhaps realise.  Kids under 10 are looking at it – girls, as well as boys.  It is not just looking at it that is a problem.  Reading it can be a problem, too, if you read hardcore copy.  Porn bends heads.  It scares girls, wakes up Pandora.  Porn has extraordinary power and it needs to be kept away from children.  It damages them.  You will have to accept that we will not eradicate porn from this world, but it should be better regulated.  Adults who enjoy porn should look a little deeper into their sex.  They will probably find that on a level their sex is hectic, but empty.  How much transgression can you watch going on before you start to transgress as part of an everyday?  What you watch becomes your reality.  Choose carefully what thoughts you fill your head with.  There is a lot of depraved thinking going on in the minds of boys and men and there are enough loose women desperate enough to comply with their desires.  This needs dealing with.  I am not suggesting that it is only men, either.  Women these days have seriously questionable morals – they are as much into whoring as the men are.  A lot of women are predators.  A lot of men are corruptors of innocence, they get off on turning you into a bad girl for their entertainment.  Watch for them.  Porn has bred whoring.  Be watchful, too, for money-whores.  There are a great many of those in our world.  Porn is the difference between a ‘fuck’ and making love.  Love lets you know everything you need to know about making it.  A ‘fuck’ is nothing.  Know that a lot of men out there are fucking women for a living.  They tell the women what they need to hear – lies, usually, and they ply them with alcohol to loosen their inhibitions and get into their pants.  Women are not good at drinking too much and keeping their pants on.  A woman who needs love (and there are a lot of those in our world) wants to believe the random man whispering in her ear actually cares about her and she opens willingly to his approach.  Easy.  Know that he does not care.  He is taking from her her grace, her innocence.  Bit by bit.  As a woman, please do not be under the illusion – ever – that when you let a man into your pants after three minutes that it is love.  It never, ever is.  It is purely physical.  You are a sex toy.  Understand this when you want to make sense of your life.

We need to replace porn with erotica.  Erotica is hot, porn is not.  Erotica is different – lust is a reality for every single one of us.  Carnal lust.  The carnal lust that drives the animal in all of us will surprise us with its power time and again.  If you fail to recognise the animal in you, you are missing vital information from your understanding of life.  Know that love and lust do go hand in hand.  Both are instincts.  Love and lust are bed-fellows in good relationships.  If you do not feel lust, or cannot feel lust – then something is wrong with your sex.  You must investigate what is not right in your love life.  It is time to look at what you expect from sex, what you require from sex and what you are not getting.  If you are not getting love – just a few hours of physical intimacy with a stranger – then your sex life is pretty pointless, it has to be said.  You should perhaps change the way you go about doing what you do.

Sex should not become boring.  Boring is dangerous.  Comfortable is fine, but avoid boring because it leads to transgression.  Boring means you need to reconsider your relationship before you do something that is going to jeopardise it.  Kids must learn young what sex is about and what it is for.  Important – it is not only for procreation, for god’s sake.  It is there for pleasure.  If kids should hear the wrong thing about sex in the first place, this is an issue.  Teach them right.  Porn tells a wrong story and it should not be their introduction.

If you aspire to – or do – live like a porn star in your real life then understand that you are the kind of person that is destroying the equilibrium in this world, i.e. the peace.  Please stop it.  People who use others for sex are selfish.  You do not ever use somebody for sex.  And you do not ever take someone’s sex from them.  EVER.  You respect that sex is a demonstration of love – not simply a quick way to get your rocks off or boost your self-esteem.  Ironically, random sex will not boost your self-esteem.  It will eat away at your insides.  You throw your name away each time you do it.

Voyeurism – Blog No. 55

Bathroom voyeur sgnReality TV is voyeurism.  You are granted the opportunity to watch the intimate goings on of a group of people, persons.  Why do we  have a fascination with others’ lives?  Is it because we need to compare ourselves to someone else in order to gain some perspective on our own world situation, or is it because we feel entitled to have an opinion about how other people run their days?  How others run their days is not our business unless their actions clash with our own strategy.  If there is a clash of interests, you will find yourself standing your ground and fighting your corner.  It is just the way we work when we believe strongly in something.  If there is a conflict of interests, you may find yourself giving ground – either ideological or actual – in order to keep the peace.  It depends on what kind of person you are.  Do you know who you are?  Do you know whether you are a pacifist, a fascist, a humanitarian or a non-entity?  If you are a non-entity in your own life, that is a problem.

Watching others is interesting.  As a sentient human being you cannot remain unaffected by the sight of someone who is emotionally overwrought.  Whether it is grief, or pain – or victory – it will tell upon your nerves the same.  You will respond to what you see.  If you do not respond, you are probably psychotic.  If you are programmed to feel nothing for other people then you need to re-programme yourself.  Notice what is happening in the lives around you.  You are a part of many realities, you share common ground with many different people.  Realise that we are all fighting battles, facing demons, finding angels.  We are all at the mercy of our feelings.  Emotions are meant to be controlled, not ignored.  If you have no interest in other people and their emotions then you are not going to be able to help make this world a better place.  There are too many hurt people milling around, there is still too much disillusionment.  That is the problem with living an illusion in the first place.  However.  We all become disillusioned at one time or another in our lives.  There are always going to be those things that do not measure up to our expectations.  If you tell me you have no expectations (so that you never face disappointment) I will tell you that you are doing your future a disservice.  It is not advisable to do your own future a disservice.  You need to have expectations.  You are entitled to have expectations.  That is what keeps this world going around.

I think we should all expect a peaceful world.  That is the least we can do for ourselves.  I think freedom should be a right.  It is clear that you can find freedom, no matter what your constraints, but this is not something you can learn in one day.  You need to spend your life making yourself truly free.  That is the goal of every beginning.  Each time you return, you free yourself from further chains.  Our existence is not a punishment, I am so tired of people believing that.  Religion put that idiotic idea into man’s head.  Religion has a lot to answer for.  Of all institutions it is the least-equipped to explain itself to this planet and I question the value of any set of rules that does not care to justify itself in today’s terms.  Religion is control.  That is all it is.  It keeps people in line – which is no bad thing – but it divides.  Like borders divide.  If none of the religions can even agree about what God actually is, then how must we follow their say-so?  They do not know who – or what – they are talking about.

Contraception – Blog No. 54

Contraception-WTAThis world is over-populated.  Use contraception in any shape or form.  That is the first fact to get into your head.  The second, is that birthing more than two children in this day and age is not just irresponsible, it is selfish.  How many times must you duplicate yourself in this world?  It is immaterial how much money you have.  If you love children enough to want ten, then adopt for god’s sake.  Do you know how many children do not have families on this planet?  What can they learn of Earth?  Theirs’ will be an emptiness within that will be very hard to fill.  If you cannot cope with the idea of adopting – and some people do not want to bring up another’s progeny – that is fine, but do not flood the world with your seed.  Men must update their thinking – more is not more.  Less is more for 2013 and beyond.  If you cannot conceive, you do not rush to the hospital for IVF treatment.  You wait and you see what Nature has in store for you.  Why force her hand, time and again?  Who do you think you are, demanding of her with your impatience?  Do you not think she – of all – knows best?  Do you not think she is measuring your bodies for success?  Of course she is.  She is waiting for the perfect time.  Each time you conceive unnaturally you are missing that window.  Her pace is that of patience, as a guide in life you cannot hope to find better.  If you want a child more than anything in the world, then you know as well as the next person that any child will do for you the same job.  That is important to understand.

Children love unconditionally for a very long time.  Their capacity for forgiveness – if that is even what it is to them – is humbling to see as a human being.  It is sad to think about how many times an abused child will try to make sense of what ‘love’ is.  They will forgive time and again without question, in pursuit of love.  That is what a child is born expecting to be shown.  Love.  Remember – if they are damaged children, they will have to be taught what love is.  You cannot expect a child who has been kicked around or fostered in five abusive families to function normally.  That would be insane.  That is why social services in every country in the world needs more money to do the job they are trying to do.  We need to take the problem out before it happens.  Also, you cannot move a child every five minutes and hope they will be well-adjusted to function in society at the end of it all.  You are affecting their sense of identity when you change their environment.  Appreciate that if you move a child from school to school, and/or house to house, you are forcing them to rely on change as a constant.  This can be a risky business.  If you pile the witnessing of domestic abuse on top of that and/or substance abuse, you are showing the child that violence is acceptable and/or that addiction is a potential path to follow.  Addiction to anything is not recommended, food included.  A lot of people are addicted to food and refuse to admit it.  That is no different to many alcoholics sitting at the AA.  Whether their ‘Twelve Steps’ is what to take from their ministering I can’t say, but I have heard that following God up the steps is required.  That all makes sense if you believe there is a God.  There are a lot of alcoholics who do not think there is a God.  This reality should be taken into consideration.

The church should really swallow its contraception and abortion arguments.  It is time.  If it cannot swallow its pride on this and give real ground as well as ideological ground as an institution then it is failing its followers.  It is choice that humans seek, not strict governance by a set of backward rules.  The Catholics in particular can reshuffle their policies, their celibacy laws have bred abuse and paedophilia and their issue with contraception is going to lose them followers faster than the revelation of their true wealth.  The Catholics must be called upon to explain why they have so much of this planet’s land under their belts.  They need to free up space, they need to sell on and move out.  The poor need houses.  The church can sell their properties and pay for the housing.  That is what any charitable institute would do.  And a humble religion – which all religions aspire to be, surely – will have a humble portfolio.  I think the Catholics need to show their willingness to really help the people change the state of their planet.  How else can they redeem themselves?  Alms, are alms.

Famine – Blog No. 53

The-world-should-come-together-and-help-Children-are-sufferingIt is unacceptable that there are starving people on this planet.  It is totally unacceptable that children on this planet are starving.  For a brain to develop and a body to thrive, grow strong, it needs sustenance.  Both brain and body.  When you starve children you are not just causing them hunger pains that they cannot understand but must endure, or depriving them of a childhood – for what fun can it be starving slowly to your death? – you are preventing a child the opportunity to develop its brain so that it will be a thinker in this world.  We need as many thinkers as we can get.  Each sadness in a deprived childhood is counted, measured.  These things cannot be forgotten.  They cannot be ignored.  I wish to liberate every child on this planet.  That it should be a private goal is perhaps of no consequence to anyone, but it should be.  In this day and age – as educated as we are – we should all want the same thing.  I understand there are many un-free adults, too, and these do not go unnoticed, however – the children should be our immediate concern because they are our future.  Until the children are out of chains – mentally, physically, spiritually – this world is arrested; silenced by its own demise.  We cannot just sit and watch the world go to shit.  We have to do something about the state of affairs on this planet we all call home.  Earth.  We are each able to do something to make the world better.  We just need to THINK right.  When you are determined to find solutions to the world’s problems, you will find them.  The more people that contribute to the collective in terms of positive, forward-thinking – the better off this world’s future is going to be.  We should all care about what the future is going to look like – even if you do not have children you should care.  We all possess the power of independent thinking and we can choose to think about what we like.  There is no government that can make you think one way or another.  There is no man who can force you to have his thoughts.  You have to think for yourself.  Do not accept things in this world that you do not like.  Think about what you like and what you do not like.  Concentrate on changing those things you don’t like – first in your own life and then in your community.  Do not accept that as one person you cannot make a difference.  You can.  You just have to want to try.

If you can vote – vote.  Being lazy in a democracy is a disgrace.  If you can make sandwiches for the homeless people then make them – do you know how grateful a homeless person is to receive anything at all?  Imagine for one minute that it was you that was sleeping on a dirty piece of cardboard on the sidewalk?  Where is your self-esteem when you must sleep on the pavement?  It is not in a good place.  When your self-esteem is not in a good place, your thinking is not as big as it should be.  Can you imagine having no fixed place to live – drifting up and down side streets and holing up in doorways?  Your world becomes very small.  You forget to dream.  This world cannot do without dreams, or dreamers.  The dreams of the pure mind are dreams worth harvesting for the future.  Pure thought comes best in children that have not been abused, exploited or starved.  How can we stop the bureaucracy and corruption that keeps food from people that need it?  There is enough food on Earth to feed everybody – it just needs to be spread around a bit better.  It’s time the aid agencies actually took accountability and changed the way their industry works.  You cannot stand by and watch corruption steal maize meal from its population.  You protest against conditions as they are.  Who better to say something than someone right inside the situation itself?  I cannot understand how people can turn a blind eye.  In your next incarnation you could be the one starving.  Think about it.  The sooner we end suffering the sooner we will stop suffering, ourselves.  We are a reflection of our environment, we are what is going on around us.  How can you pretend not to see that?

ZANU PF needs to stop harrassing the people trying to provide aid to the Zimbabweans.  Can those people forget their idiotic politics for one minute and concentrate on themselves as humans?  They are not Mugabe’s people.  They never were.  It is time the Zimbabweans were liberated.  Please spare them a thought in your everyday.  They are a beautiful, long-suffering people.  They need the world’s help.  The governments cannot be bothered to offer anything more than lip-service to a Zimbabwe in strife and although this lip-service does help open the world’s eyes, it needs action to back up the words.  The Zimbabweans need supervision during their July elections.  It is simple.  Why can the international community not put together an army of overseers and send them to Zimbabwe to watch who the people really want in power?  Mugabe is so scared of the real result he cheats every time.  He stuffs the ballot boxes and claims victory and everyone knows – again – that the man is lying.  They are so used to their leader lying that they cannot even believe their reality any longer.  Mugabe is morally bankrupt and he is responsible for a genocide.  Did the world forget that?  I think you would be tired of your government being in power for 30 years – can you even imagine it?  The man is old and his mind is fried.  He is delusional at best and the country could do with a change.  They deserve a change.  It would be good to see a new political party starting, one that can inspire hope.  The MDC dog has been whipped by Zanu PF and it stands with its tail between its legs.  You cannot feel inspired by a party like that.  You need a party that can bring you what you want.  I think every Zimbabwean knows that they need change.  In this age of information sharing they see clearly where their future lies if they are forced to follow the same path they have been following for 30 years.  They must change their pace, adjust their thinking.  There is too much fear in Zimbabwe.  She is crumbling under her own load.  She needs to stand back and see herself for who she is.  She is Zimbabwe.  A mighty nation of warriors, heroes.  Their energy as a people is hard not to love the first time you experience it.  They are an incredibly special people.  Imagine that the minds of all those Africans were free to think about something other than their unfortunate circumstances?  The collective unconscious would swell with their contribution.  They have an extraordinary cultural heritage to share and that sharing is valuable sharing.  Their thoughts are like prayer flags in the wind.  They send good vibes out into the world.  We could do more to help them stand up for themselves.

In-bed-togetherThe days are done where you can exist solely for yourself, your immediate family.  Your family is a cell in the bloodstream of life on Earth.  You are not a unit exclusive to yourselves.  Not any longer.  You are a part of the collective.  Your thoughts contribute to the wellbeing – or detriment – of this planet.  We need to align our thinking.  The power of thought can change a destiny.  Let’s change Earth’s destiny.  As it stands, her future is looking pretty bleak.  Like it or not, this planet is full of very selfish, very greedy and very corrupt people and they are trashing the balance in society.  We need to weed these people out and get rid of them.  They are a cancer.  Corruption cannot be tolerated on any level, in any organisation.  You cannot work well with people you cannot trust and corrupt people cannot be trusted.  Ever.  Once a soul is corrupted it is a different creature.  It becomes interesting.  You have to watch its behaviour, it becomes changeable.  You cannot let your guard down when it comes to soul, the vastness of the darkness we all carry within is reason enough to be vigilant against opening willy-nilly to the creature.  You must address darkness with some reverence, it holds all your secrets – clues to your future.  You must regulate your opening, your closing.  Like breathing.  In.  Out.  I do not believe that leaving yourself open to darkness all day and all night is helpful.  You need perspective in order to manage its ministrations.  If you cannot get perspective then you must step outside yourself for a while.  Free your mind.  Think of the silence of space as the silence of mind.  Imagine your soul as the universe.  You are everything there is.  That means you carry within you the power to manifest as your dream.  Your dream will only be the beginning.

The end of days is nothing to be afraid of.  When you realise just how inter-connected we all are you will understand that on one level we all face this event horizon.  We are together.  The best way to transcend the ‘end’ is to converge.  To become one.  We all have a current running through us, we are electricity and we are light.  Forget for a moment that you are flesh.  Separate the concepts of mind and body.  Concentrate on the fact that you are capable of telekinesis.  You are born with that facility – you must just learn to use it.  That takes effort.  If you can be bothered to be a proper human being you are capable of producing masterpieces with your lives.  Masterpieces.  You must know that touching a person means tapping into another energy field.  Be careful whose energy you choose to connect with.  Be selective in your associations.  Avoid arseholes – be they male or female.  We have no time for arsehole-energy in our thinking field.  We need to focus on a better world.  We can all benefit from this vision.  And remember – any improvement is an improvement.

We work together, we become a force that cannot be stopped.  It is important to know which page we are on.  We cannot align our thinking if we are all on different pages.  The worry there is that we become zombies if we all follow the same prescription.  I do not think a zombie-world is what we need.  We do not all want to be thinking the same, independent thinking is recommended.  But we need a framework upon which to hitch our ideas.  As a collective.  We can all come up with productive thoughts to pin to the board – that is not hard in this upside-down world.  There are a lot of things to be improved on this planet – one of the first of which is the children who scour rubbish dumps for a living.  I cannot accept that as a childhood.

The way to ensure that you avoid further conditioning is to follow your curiosity wherever it takes you.  Important – curiosity is not malicious.  It will not lead you to shoot up a school just to see what doing that feels like – that carnage is the work of a bent mind.  A bent mind is a dangerous mind.   It should be said – there are too many mentally ill people roaming this planet.  These people are not thinking right, and wrong thinking is turning our reality into a freak show.  Worse still, these people are bringing up children who are dreaming a future into being.

If you have no curiosity about anything – that is your problem in life.

Money – Blog No. 51

gun_moneyI hate the way money governs minds the way it does.  It has a power that should inspire awe, and wariness.  We should never be complacent around money.  It is an integral part of an everyday for every single person on this planet.  Whether you have it, or whether you don’t.  Money affords us choices.  As human beings, we are kept happy with choices.  When you have no money, you have no choice but to survive.  That makes for a person who will behave badly in order to get by.  You do what you must do.  When you have no money to fund your addictions and you choose to hurt people in order to support your imbalance, those crimes are of a different nature.  If you are hungry, you will steal or dig in dustbins.  If you are a junkie, you will rob and/or hurt people to fund your hobby.  Hurting others is frowned upon.

There are too many capable people sitting on their backsides, not earning money for themselves.  Earning money is empowering.  A lot of these people have a choice, they can work – they are just lazy and have become totally dependent on state support.  It is not good to be wholly dependent on anything.  There are too many people stealing from the failing benefit system in the UK, there are too many yob parasites and too many disillusioned children of the Empire in that country for the infrastructure to hope to cope.  It cannot cope.  The UK government cannot afford to keep its people in the manner to which they have grown accustomed.  Their’s is a dangerous, rocky road.  What does money mean in the UK?  What does money mean in the United States?  And very relevant – what does money mean in Africa?  In most places, it means status.  In some places, it means safety, security, too.  It would be good if everywhere money meant safety and security, for everyone.  I do not accept that there are people who survive on one US dollar a day.  I do accept that it is not for the rich to pay for the poor.  However, it is for the rich to make every effort to change the way this world works.  They have the platform and they have the resources.  They are somewhat educated, usually, and theirs’ should be a collective social conscience – it just should.  You don’t get rich by accident.  You either work hard and earn or you steal, extort, con.  Stealing is not advisable – did you not hear that the easy way in life is not the trap to fall into?  In anycase, you will pay back whatever you steal.  That is a given.

If you do get rich, make sure your methods are honourable, ethical.  For your own peace of mind.  And give something back.  Make sure you give something back – to the environment, if you cannot be moved to feel charitable towards people, or animals.  Be a visionary.  Be an entrepeneur.  Be the best at what you do.  Command remuneration for your services rendered, make sure it is fair exchange and make sure you do not underestimate your worth.  If you are rich – do not be greedy.  Greedy is rude and a money-grabbing rude person is not a person anyone wants to spend time with.  If your ways to acquiring wealth are not kosher, you can be sure that in your lifetime you will suffer your same treatment, you will be taken advantage of the way you have taken advantage of others.  The best thing about this world is that there is always, always, karma – and there is always, always, consequence.

Money makes most things move.  Most things.  Anyone who imagines that money does not manipulate every class in society, every caste – for there are still the ‘untouchables’ – is deluded.  Unfortunately, money is necessary in our world.  You cannot live without it.  We have made it this way.  It would make sense, then, that we take responsibility for our attitude towards money and instead of using it to demonstrate our successes in life, use it to make a success of this planet.  We only have the one.  We really should use every resource available to make it the kind of planet we all feel comfortable living on.  If someone next door to you is starving, you do not just sit there and watch unless you, yourself, are starving.  You start thinking about what you can do to make this world a better place and you give what you can to those who need something from you.

Limitations – Blog No. 50

1001052_393339104104509_1687252269_nYou create your own limitations.  Break with your tradition of thinking and remove the worn out ideas – your core ‘staple’ thoughts – to free up space for a new world-view.  It is time.  There is not time any longer for being overly precious about your angers and your hatreds – you must see each one, face to face, and then let it fly.  It is time to let go of your toxic thoughts.  Write them on paper and set fire to them.  It is cathartic watching the flames.  I suggest you do not get too sentimental about your letting go, either.  Clean up your head willingly, it can only help you.  Your thoughts contain your future, they are the building blocks of your existence.  Make them strong.  Positive.  And think big.  Dream of a world where there is more peace and tolerance, more respect and goodwill, compassion.  Expect that world to materialise.  But first – remove the boundaries you set for yourself by addressing your own negatives.  When you can look at your negative behaviours and your destructive behaviours and understand why there are times when you act (seemingly) to sabotage your own life, then you will find yourself closer to knowing just who you are and how powerful your nature is.  Your nature is essentially what you are. What you are is not the same as who you are.  You must know both.  That is why being natural is important.  It shows respect for your beginnings.  If you cannot be easy in your natural state you are missing out, it is a peace like none other.

This world has a self-consciousness that needs exploring.  Perhaps there are too many mirrors?  Perhaps it matters too much in some places how you present yourself to the planet.  But in these places where picture-perfect matters the people can be left to themselves, they are all aspiring to be the same object – so they become one and the same and no one needs to worry.  Narcissus looked first to himself and last, at himself.  When you have a mindset that understands shopping for a living, celebrity-worshipping and very little else it is harmless in the larger scheme of things.  These people do not contribute to our days.  Their attention is focussed elsewhere and their heads are empty.  In fact their free space is legendary.  It is when these people speak shit that we have a problem.  Their thoughts are very easy to deflect but their words cause a nuisance.  There are too many ignorant people speaking hatred with authority and that is a problem in our western world.  How many people these days read more than the daily tabloid?  You cannot get anywhere in life by reading the tabloids.  Please.  Fill your head with relevant facts.  Who this woman is who slept with 30 men in her quest for fame is not a relevant fact.  Lazy people do not bother to read about the state of their own futures in the hands of the dodgy politicians they put in power – either through voting, or NOT voting.  There is no excuse for not voting.  None.  Lazy people do not bother to read about what state their world is in, how their natural world is shrinking.  There is no time for laziness in our current climate.  We need to make a statement against the way things are.  We do not do that by avoiding taking responsibility.  We all become informed – even one new piece of information each day.  That way – you are growing your awareness and you are forming opinions.  It is natural.  You will have an opinion one way or another on this thing, that thing.  It is interesting hearing your own opinions.  You must feel how it feels to believe something.  You will know how it feels.  There is a power behind your idea, your ideas.  You cannot pretend to yourself to believe something.  And don’t worry about believing everything you read – you won’t.  You have discernment and you are equipped to use it.  Check your sources and find reliable facts with which to build your understanding of what is happening to our world.  Trust your opinions but do not force them on other people.  Suggesting is always better.  Put your opinions up against the opinions of others and see how your thinking measures up.  Together we can find a way to make the people who hold power, listen.  It is all in the way you ask them to hear you.  You cannot be unresponsive to an appeal made in earnest, with pure motivation.  It would be to go against the spirit of living and violate our right of abode as citizens of Earth.

This world needs to recognise that limitations are impractical.  If you can conceive of not succeeding then you have the wrong goal.  What is the point wasting time on following to conclusion something that you, yourself, do not believe in?  To have doubts is natural, healthy, it keeps you from complacency.  But do not consider failure before you consider success.  Then you will fail.  You have to be able to stretch your perception to include the possibility that you have everything you need to get you to your best.  Who you are – at this exact moment in time – is enough.  Trust your experiences – always.  Trust your innocence – always.  If you manage your life effectively you will find that you develop your innocence rather than allow it to be lost.  You feed your innocence and learn from experience.  It is easy.  Trust your inner child for guidance.  It knows what to do.  If you have not yet made the acquaintance of your inner child you ought to make your introductions, soon.  Your inner child uses pure motivation.  You can learn a lot from watching its decision-making.

Death – Blog No. 49

600x685_death-penaltyYou cannot just have 25 000 bumblebees drop dead in Oregon.  I’m sorry, it’s just not good enough.  They spray pesticides in the trees and the bees land in the toxic mess and all of them die.  That is 150 COLONIES of bumblebees.  Nature must just make the adjustment?  I think Nature is very tired of making adjustments for man.  She is tired of impacting man’s shit.  You cannot just have an oil spill that wipes out an entire bay of creatures.  You cannot just go drilling in the Arctic and trash the landscape.  You cannot keep murdering rhinos and lions with impunity.  Nature will not take much more of man’s meddling.  She is getting fed up of his sticking his fingers into her every orifice.  Stop genetic modifications – it is not for man to bend Nature’s say-so.  For god’s sake.  Nature was perfect in her execution before man came along – and she will be perfect long after he has gone.  He should watch her with more awe – and show her far more respect.  Does this planet wonder why violent death is at an all-time high?  You get what you give.  Nature sees man’s casual destruction of her majesty.  He is her progeny – lucky for him – and she must watch as he systematically destroys his mother.  Where is the sense in that?  She has invested her everything in you.  From the beginning.  It is time you appreciated that.

When AIDS took over Africa – because let’s face it, it has – was that Nature returning man’s compliment?  When she speaks she does not mince her words.  In fact, when Nature speaks it is best you shut up and listen.  Who said she does not have a voice?  She speaks in silence, in whispers of wind.  She speaks in tsunamis.  She speaks in tornado tongues.  She speaks in disease.  Do not underestimate her.  Really.  It would be your gravest mistake.  The thing is – Nature needs man’s help.  Without his help she will continue to suffer and the simple equation goes like this:  should she continue to suffer, man will continue to suffer.  How many ways does this have to spelled out before someone wakes up and takes notice?  Karma.  The cycle of life.  Flow.  Whatever you choose to recognise it as – there is a pure energy in this world that has its origin in Nature.  Nature is flawless.  She has imperfections – mutations – but she is immaculate in her happening.  Each season she bothers to come out with  a brand new display for humans to enjoy.  Do you even notice?  Are you so busy with your head stuck in the sand doing nothing to save your world that you fail to appreciate your source?  You must wake up and appreciate exactly what a creature you are and where you come from.  You are Nature.  Learn that and love that you are her reflection.  Trust, please, that you are not JUST or ONLY human.  There is no such thing as just human.  You are your own miracle, be sure what you choose to do with yourself is worthwhile.

When the Germans murdered the Jews and the Rwandan Hutu and Tutsi had their minds bent enough by a regime to hack each other up with machetes there was death on a large scale.  Hatred is fostered – it is a man-made thing.  It is usually based on a bed of lies so know that it has weak foundations.  You can easily conquer it if you face up to it.  You have to be discerning in this century, choose your battles wisely.  Eradicating hatred is a a big battle to have chosen, but it is the only way we will make this planet into the Utopia it is promised to be.  Earth can be a model of mutual respect, tolerance, understanding.  It can be RIGHT.  We can make it right.  We all have to decide what is wrong, first, and then know what we will not tolerate.  We all have a say.  We all live on earth.  We have internet and can communicate – a lot of people cannot have their say.  Why is it fine in some countries to hear public opinion and in others it is banned?  That is ridiculous.  How can you find out what your people need and want if you do not ask them?  These countries are operating on fear and that is not right.  You do not take the tack of scaring a people into doing what you want.  That is called bullying and bullying on a global scale cannot be tolerated.  China – stop bullying your people.  Let them breathe air for once that is not contaminated by your state propaganda.  Stop bullying Africans.  And stop bribing Africans, please.  They have a weakness for your dollars.
